IN EVERY CURVE
IN EVERY LAP...
Balba Camino is the woman who has won most prizes in Spanish motor racing. She entered into the motor world at the age of 14, when she participated in a driving course her father was teaching at the Circuito del Jarama (Jarama Circuit), which, inadvertently, would change her life for ever.
That first experience at a circuit transformed her curiosity into passion, and since then, she has had a clear goal: COMPETING in motor racing, but not just competing for the victory at the finish line, but for outdoing herself every day, in every lap, in every curve.
At the age of 17 she achieved her dream. From that moment on and for the following 16 years, she devoted herself to professional competing and participated in some of the most famous racing competitions in the world.
Ever since she started in motor racing, Balba has been a high level trainer of drivers in driving schools, and she has taken advantage of these experiences to design and manage some of the most important sponsorship projects in Spanish motor racing, some of them focused on discovering and training new drivers.
Balba has also promoted this sport from her position as a member of institutions such as the Real Federación Española de Automovilismo (Royal Spanish Federation of Motor Racing), in which she has participated by forming part of the board of directors and in its delegated committee as drivers’ representative. She has also collaborated with Make a Team, a consulting firm in which, like other elite athletes, she has devoted herself to training company managers in several skills such as teamwork and making decisions under pressure.
Her secret is no other than passion, constancy and a full dedication to achieve what she aims to.
